CPW Biennial General Meeting

Our BGM will be held during the all-age long weekend and will be both in-person and online. It will be a good chance to continue the conversation about CPW's important role in the church.

Members who are not on the Alton Castle event already are very welcome to join in person and will be able to have lunch and / or dinner for a small charge. The cost for meals and the precise timings will be confirmed nearer the time.

NB those already attending the CPW do not need to book separately to come to the BGM.

A number of the current trustees are prepared to stand again, if members wish, but we're always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested or would like to know more please talk to one of the trustees or email chaircpw@gmail.com.

At the moment here are the current items for the agenda:

2. 2024 Accounts
3. Election of trustees
4. Role of CPW in the church (group discussion building on the 80th Anniversary event)
5. Definition of membership - it was clear at the last year's EGM that we need a clearer definition of membership. Here's what's proposed:
* From January 2026 there will be two levels of membership (subject to BGM 2025 approval):
* Single £15 pa. - allows one vote at general meetings
* Household £20 pa. - all adults in household may vote at general meetings
* For the 2025 BGM we would treat all memberships as 'household'
