We shall escape from everyday life to walk the Derbyshire dales. Our base will be a hotel overlooking the Derwent Valley, with swimming pool, putting green, music room, table tennis and more, near Matlock, close by the Peak District national park and Abraham’s Heights. The area offers visitors everything from gentle riverside walks to challenging hikes; we’ll take the middle way. Some of our paths have been walked for over 230 years. As we walk for relaxation and enlightenment we shall think of some for whom walking is the only way to escape war, violence, repression and ethnic cleansing. Does God walk also with them?
