The celebrations of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter are at heart of the mystery of our faith. On our Easter CPW we invite you to fully enter into the Triduum, as we celebrate these Great Three Days by living, learning and worshipping in community.
The Easter liturgies are rich with symbolism and contrasts. Children, young people and adults will be encouraged to prepare, participate and enter into these riches. The programme will be participatory, creative, prayerful, joyful, musical, physical and meditative. It will include breaking bread, lighting fires, washing feet, watching and praying. Our time together will be holy not because of what we will remember about Jesus’ last days but because of what it can accomplish within each one of us. So come!
The Easter Long Weekend will be held at Plas Caerdeon, a Victorian mansion near Barmouth, Wales.
