‘With great power comes great responsibility…’ so said Uncle Ben to Peter Parker. Plenty of other people have also said this, or words to this effect, including Luke (of Gospel writing fame).
As parents, like Spider-Man, we too have great power and, consequently, great responsibility for our children’s future (no pressure). At Malvern CPW 2019 we hope to tackle the often daunting responsibility of parenting in the 21st century, with the emphasis on Catholic parenting. There will be lots of opportunity to take part in family faith sessions; talking, praying, singing and creating together, plus speakers to lead us through the demands we and our children face: from social media to mental health issues to schooling (to name a few).
We invite you to join us in sharing your own parenting experiences, successes and challenges; no one has all the answers but together we might just find some solutions.
