Where is God in the climate crisis?
Signs of a worsening climate crisis are all around us but where is our creator God in all of this? And what should our response as Christians be?
About the venue:
We are trying Whithaugh Park for the first time.
It’s situated in the unspoilt landscape of the Scottish Borders countryside and shares its surroundings with forests and rivers – but just 40 minutes’ drive from the M6. Whithaugh has an indoor heated swimming pool – sessions cost £3.80 per person. We will also have access to a sports hall and a low ropes course and there’s a mountain bike trail right next to the centre.
The accommodation is in Scandinavian-style log cabins with a rooms of two, four and six-beds made up of single beds and bunks.
There are no single rooms at Whithaugh. If you book on as a single person and don’t want to share a room this will mean an extra cost for CPW so we will charge an extra £50 to partially off-set this.
This is a self-catered event and will require support from participants with such things as setting/clearing tables, washing up, chopping vegetables etc. This will be on a rota basis so not every day.
