Longing for Light

Imagine the scene. Jesus is out in the open air speaking to a crowd of thousands about the different groups of people who should consider themselves blessed when, subtly and skilfully, the focus shifts.
All of a sudden it isn’t about ‘them’, it’s about ‘us’, and what we are called to be. We are the light of the world! And here’s the rub - we still are!
Using the lighthouse as our guiding motif we will be navigating our way through our understanding of what it means to be ‘light’, what it would take to help us see more clearly, and how we are affected by the things we do see.
About the venue:
Monastery of Our Lady of Hyning, Warton nr Carnforth, Lancashire, LA5 9SE.
The tranquil Monastery of Our Lady of Hyning, with its picturesque setting, simple chapel and welcoming Bernardine Cistercian nuns, is a favourite venue for CPW. It is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Lancashire.
Accommodation: 5 single and 9 double / twin-rooms, mostly en-suite. Accessibility: Lift and full wheelchair access.

Cost Options
There are three cost options available:
* Standard is what we think the actual cost will be.
* Pay more is 20% extra for those who would like to help cover the costs of discounted places.
* Pay less is 20% less if the actual cost is a stretch.
New members receive a 25% discount on the first CPW event they attend.
(Bursaries to cover a discount of more than 20% are available – please ask)
