We know what our values are, but how freely can we express them? In an inter-connected and online world, having the courage to make one's voice heard is vital, particularly when public discourse is often unforgiving, even vindictive. To do this we need to call on the Holy Spirit to inspire us and give us the strength to speak up in kindness for what we know is right, whether online or in person.
We will revisit the gifts of the Spirit, examining how we can call on them to give us strength, conviction and courage in our daily lives and in tackling the big issues in the wider world. We will learn from a BBC radio producer, a magazine editor and others as we discover our own voices. From facts to fake news to fiction, spanning speech-making and poetry, we hope to find a way to speak the word of God.
