Personal Reflections
A Personal Reflection from Polly Smallwood
I am reminded of my first Easter CPW. A volunteer was wanted for doing the flowers, a task to which I thought I was suited until I learned that the children should be involved . . . PANIC, PANIC! The Holy Spirit and some Mums came to my rescue and I was very pleased with the result and the fact that it had worked out well.
Our leader tell us, “We will get through this,” and I imagine flowers waiting to pop up. I love to read and delight in the thought that Chaucer and Wordsworth celebrated the daisy. Also, Teresa of Lisieux used the humble daisy as an analogy of God's being the Centre and His People the petals drawn to this Centre.
