About the venue:

The Bar Convent York is England's oldest living convent, founded in 1686 as a girls’ school and still home to the Congregation of Jesus. The atmospheric, updated Grade 1 18th Century building has refurbished conference rooms and comfortable, modern guest rooms (twin, triple and single) with en suite facilities and good disabled access.  There is a prayerful chapel and an award-winning café.  It is round the corner from York Railway Station.
